"The Georgia Variations" is one of several games created by Gesher Educational Affiliates in Israel from 1982-84 under the direction of Yaakov Kirschen, a cartoonist at the Jerusalem Post at the time.
This is a graphical choose-your-own-adventure-style game where you play the role of a Jewish boy in late 19th-century Eastern Europe who ultimately immigrates to Atlanta, Georgia. The game was developed specifically for the Atlanta Jewish Federation to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Jewish settlement in Georgia. The game was part of an interactive history exhibit at the Council of Jewish Federations’ General Assembly in November 1983 in Atlanta.
Note: This game consists of five disks: 1, A, B, C, and T. Disk 1 is the disk you start with. The game will prompt you to insert other disks as you move through the story.
